Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to oversee and ensure the protection of personnel, property, and assets within our organization. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly environment by monitoring premises, enforcing security protocols, and responding promptly to incidents or threats. This position is responsible for conducting regular patrols, supervising access control, managing security systems, and providing guidance to security personnel. Key Duties and Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to detect and deter unauthorized activities, security breaches, or safety hazards. Enforce company security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational requirements. Supervise and coordinate the activities of security staff and assist in training new guards. Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, taking appropriate action and documenting events accurately. Control access to premises, verifying identification and permissions for visitors, employees, and contractors. Operate and monitor surveillance equipment, alarm systems, and other security technologies. Prepare and submit detailed reports on security-related incidents, daily activities, and recommendations for improvements. Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other departments as required. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Sectional Heads
